Cultural Harmony Festival Celebrates TMLA Diversity

On February 1, we celebrated our annual Cultural Harmony Festival to note the rich heritage of our diverse student body derived from more than 100 countries.

A variety of foods and colorful costumes reflected the cultural heritage of members of the Italian, Irish, British, Spanish, French, East Asian/South Asian, Filipino, African Heritage/Caribbean Clubs, as well as the Hellenic Society.

In addition, students, faculty, and staff enjoyed dances featuring members of the following clubs: African Heritage/Caribbean, Eastern Asian/South Asian, Filipino, Irish, Spanish, and Hellenic Society.

Stories of traditions shared all week long, adding extra magic to our time together. Learning from each other made it truly special!

Whatever our traditions, we make up one home rooted in Unity, Reconciliation, All-inclusive love, and concern for the Dear Neighbor.
