Students interested in our scholarship opportunities please follow this link to create an account and register for our scholarship opportunities. Please select the year of the prospective student’s 9th grade year (2024–2025).

 

There are two types of scholarships for incoming 9th graders: Academic and CSJ Scholar Incentive Service Awards. 

 

Online registration for our academic scholarship exam is currently closed. Please email Ms. Rita Piro, Director of Admissions, with any questions or concerns.

Academic Scholarships
The Process:
  • Select The Mary Louis Academy on the TACHS Exam
  • TMLA Scholarship Exam will be administered on Wednesday, November 15. Students who place TMLA on the TACHS must register for the TMLA Scholarship exam by November 8, 2023. 
  • Prospective students are encouraged to schedule a personal interview, beginning June 1.

The Criteria:

  • TMLA must be selected as a first or second choice on the TACHS Exam
  • Must score in the 90-99th percentile on the TACHS Exam
  • Results of the TMLA Scholarship Examination
  • Transcripts from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, including all standardized tests
  • Personal interview

CSJ Scholar Incentive Service Awards

The mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph is to be a life giving force in our communities. We offer CSJ Scholar Incentive Awards to students who exemplify this commitment to service in their parish and community. 

 

These Scholar Incentive Awards are applicable to all four years and will be distributed to applicants throughout the neighborhoods from which our students come.

 

In order to apply, you will need:

  1. A completed application (available with your log in here).
  2. Evaluation from an adult supervisor attesting to the candidate’s service activities and involvement
  3. A Personal Statement
  4. Place The Mary Louis Academy as 1st Choice or 2nd Choice and have a satisfactory grade school record
  5. Recommended scheduling of a personal interview
