Seniors Win Honors in National Merit Program
Congratulations to TMLA seniors Elena Quinn and Gabrielle Laudando who have been named as Commended Students in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program. Both Elena and Gabrielle as Commended Students are being recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for program entry. Elena has also been recognized as a National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar.
Over 1.6 million students took the 2017 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test last October and entered the National Merit Scholarship Program, a nationwide academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955.
Elena and Gabrielle received Certificates to mark this occasion. They are pictured with Chair of Guidance Department S.
