Music

Students have the opportunity to develop their interest in music through participation in Orchestra, Glee Club, Select Chorus. Private instruction in an instrument is also available at an additional cost. Students may further pursue the study of music through the academic offerings of the Music Department.

The goal of the Music Department is to instill in the student an appreciation for music through participation in musical activities, listening experiences, and an understanding of the major musical styles and forms which have influenced the music of today. Both vocal and instrumental performances provide the student with the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience with others in the school and community.
