Mission Week at TMLA

CSJ Leadership Club and TMLA Campus Ministry sponsored Mission Week from April 15 – 19. Swim Scholarship for Tara Mulligan

TMLA’s Nancy Salpepi wins Favorite Teacher Award

Nancy Salpepi, teacher in TMLA’s Science department,  received the “My Favorite Teacher” Contest award sponsored by Barnes & Noble. Ms. Salpepi was nominated for this award based on an essay written by TMLA senior Catherine Muldoon.  

TMLA Tree of Hope

Students and faculty took part in a prayer service on the TMLA lawn during which a tree was dedicated as the “TMLA Tree of Hope.” The long, low branches of this tree will serve as a place for all to tie a ribbon for their individual intentions for prayer. Students [ read more ]

Parents Association Social

TMLA Parents Association hosted a Social in the school cafeteria on Friday, April 12. This is the main fund raiser of the organization. The evening offered food, prizes, raffles, live and silent auction and enjoyment for all. Photos of this event are in our Photo Gallery.

Art Students visit Neue Gallery . . .

TMLA Graphic Design and AP Studio Art classes visited the Neue Galerie on April 11. They had their own private tour of the museum before it opened to the public. This museum is devoted to early twentieth-century German and Austrian art and design.

TMLA Delete Day

Over 330 students participated in TMLA’s third annual Delete Day on April 10. Students came to the computer resource room and took the opportunity to change their emails and fix their Facebooks, Twitters, Tumblr, and Instagram accounts to remove anything that showed a lack of respect for themselves or others.
