New Administration

Mrs. Ann O’Hagan- Cordes ’84 – Principal

Mrs. O’Hagan-Cordes has spent her entire professional life ministering in Sisters of St. Joseph schools, previously serving at Stella Maris High School as a teacher for many years, then Assistant Principal for seven years before returning to The Mary Louis Academy as Assistant Principal of Academics in 2010.

An alumna of TMLA who truly embodies the spirit of the school, she is passionate about preserving the educational mission of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph and the commitment to academic excellence.

“Ann’s personal experience with TMLA as a student, a parent, and as administrator makes her uniquely suited to her new role as principal,” said Sister Helen Kearney, C.S.J., President.

Mrs. Jean Mauro – Assistant Principal of Academics

Mrs. Mauro comes to TMLA  with over 20 years’ experience in our sister CSJ schools of Stella Maris High School and Bishop Kearney High School with a dedication to our mission and an in-depth background of curriculum development, programming and administrative experience.

Mr. Joseph Lewinger – Assistant Principal of Student Life

Mr. Lewinger  will bring his nearly 20 years of TMLA dedicated experience as teacher, mentor, coach, Athletic Director and member of the Admissions Committee with him to meet the challenges of all things related to Student Life, while remaining as Athletic Director.

Mrs. O’Hagan – Cordes welcomed TMLA’s new administrative team, writing “All of us at Mary Louis look forward to working with Mrs. Mauro and Mr. Lewinger, as we continue to further the mission of love, unity, reconciliation and concern for the dear neighbor in our students and our world.”
