📚 Fall 2026 TACHS Prep Course at TMLA
Taught by a veteran TMLA teacher and proud alumna, this course is designed to help students in Grades 7 and 8 prepare for the Test for Admission into Catholic High Schools (TACHS).
Course Schedule (4 Sessions + 1 Bonus):
1️⃣ Saturday, September 26 – 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
2️⃣ Saturday, October 3 – 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
🚫 No session Saturday, October 10 (Columbus Day weekend)
3️⃣ Saturday, October 17 – 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
4️⃣ Saturday, October 24 – 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
🎯 Bonus Session: Saturday, October 31 – 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

Who Can Attend: Students in Grades 7–8 who intend to take the TACHS Exam. While TMLA is an all-girls school for Grades 6–12, all TACHS Prep Courses are co-ed and open to boys.

TACHS Registration: Learn more and register separately for the TACHS Exam between August 24–October 28 for the November 7 exam at tachsinfo.com/registration.

Dress Code: Casual, school-appropriate clothing.

Food: Please bring your own beverage and snacks; lunch will not be provided due to the short session length.

Drop-off & Pick-up: Specific locations will be emailed to registrants one week before the first session (September 26).

Cost: $360 for all sessions, or pro-rated by number of sessions attended. For the Fall 2025 TACHS Prep course, we only accept online payment via card. The prices indicated below are inclusive of the 3.4% processing fee charged to TMLA.

Students applying to The Mary Louis Academy ideally should list us as their 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd choice on the TACHS Exam. Doing so ensures our school receives your student’s TACHS Applicant Record, making the admissions process smoother.
Any time after August 31, 2026, be sure to APPLY to TMLA for Grade 9—this sets up your applicant profile with us, to which your TACHS Applicant Record will later be added by our Admissions Team.
Why rank us 1–3? While all students who apply to TMLA are automatically reviewed for merit scholarship consideration, those who rank us highest on the TACHS Exam demonstrate strong interest in our school—something we consider when enrolling applicants. All applicants are considered; however, strong preference is given to those who specify TMLA as their first or second choice, or even third choice.
