About the Scholarship
The CSJ Scholar Service Award is a four-year scholarship for incoming freshwomen who demonstrate outstanding commitment to service in their parish, school, or community. Established in honor of the Sisters of St. Joseph (Brentwood, NY), this scholarship reflects TMLA’s core values of unity, reconciliation, and all-inclusive love.
Eligibility
- Open to students with a strong record of community service (parish/church, Girl Scouts, school, or other service initiatives).
- This application is open to incoming freshwomen who meet the original application deadline only.
- Recipients must maintain a minimum 85% GPA in high school to renew the scholarship each year.
- Recipients must at a minimum meet the TMLA service hour requirements annually to renew the scholarship each year.
How to Apply
- Submit a general application to TMLA by 12/31/25 (Apply Here).
- Complete and submit this scholarship application.
- Decisions announced on 1/14/26 along with admission results.

- Scholarship applications will NOT be reviewed unless a general TMLA application has ALSO been submitted.
- Do not email or mail additional materials. Only submit via this form.
Application Requirements

- Have an adult supervisor verify and sign the form.
- Upload the signed form before submitting your application.
✅ Essay Responses (250-500 words per question)
- How have you served your community or made an impact on someone’s life?
- Describe your volunteer work and its impact.
- What did you learn from your service experience?
- Reflect on how service has changed you and prepared you for TMLA.
