Welcome to The Mary Louis Academy website! 

For almost 90 years The Mary Louis Academy has been a school of academic excellence rooted in the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph.  This mission is focused on the empowerment of young women in an atmosphere of unity, reconciliation and all-inclusive love.  As an all-girls’ Catholic high school we provide an opportunity for our students to use their gifts and talents to become leaders of our school and prepare them to become leaders in our world.

Students at The Mary Louis Academy work with their counselors to craft schedules that are tailored to each student’s interests within the guidelines set forth by the Board of Regents of the State of New York.  Students may choose from a wide variety of Regents, Honors, Accelerated, and AP courses, as well as college courses offered through the St. John’s University College Advantage Program.  In striving to educate the whole student, The Mary Louis Academy provides a myriad of extra and co-curricular activities, as well as many opportunities for spiritual development.

As an alumna of The Mary Louis Academy I am proud to call it my home.  Having been a student, teacher and now, Principal,of such a truly special place has been a great privilege for me.  Every day I get to experience the energy and joy of the remarkable young women who have also chosen to call it home.  It is my hope that as you learn more about The Mary Louis Academy you  will be inspired to call it your home as well.
