Who We Are
The Mary Louis Academy is a Catholic, college-preparatory school for young women in grades 9–12, now expanding to include grades 6–8.
Rooted in the charism of unity, reconciliation, and inclusive love that embraces all of creation, The Mary Louis Academy fosters an atmosphere of academic excellence and mutual respect. We empower young women to recognize and value their unique gifts — spiritual, intellectual, and social — and to use those gifts as leaders in building a more just society.

Our Home On The Hill
Nestled on five acres of rolling hills in the heart of Jamaica Estates, Queens, The Mary Louis Academy’s campus offers an inspiring environment where students thrive academically, spiritually, and personally.
Our grounds include the historic original convent — the only one of its kind among Catholic schools in Queens — alongside the main building and modern facilities that support innovative learning and creative expression.
TMLA students benefit from state-of-the-art science labs, a health science center, an art cottage, a music conservatory with recording studio, gymnasium and wellness spaces, two chapels and campus ministry areas, and a library modeled after the Yale Law School’s library.
The campus also extends beyond our hilltop home with access to St. Joseph Villa in Hampton Bays, a sacred retreat space where students deepen faith, build community, and reflect in a waterfront setting.
