Chess Team
Purpose:
To foster critical thinking that will help students plan ahead and develop strategies that will influence more concrete decision making; to foster good sportsmanship. We are a member of the National Chess Federation, and we participate in the Annual Interschool Chess Competition of New York State.
Activities:
Applying various learning styles in playing chess games, making chess boards, class competitions, state competition.
