The Mathematics Department at TMLA aims to involve each
student actively in acquiring skills of analysis and logical reasoning,
along with proficiency in computation. The Department strives to
maintain an atmosphere in which students experience the freedom
and confidence to question and gain confidence as they master
Mathematical skills. The Mathematics Department follows New York State Regents
Standards by teaching the following curriculum: Math 9: Algebra*
Math 10: Geometry*
Math 11: Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry* Electives:
- Fundamentals of Pre-Calculus
- Introductory Analysis
- Honor Analysis
- Accelerated Analysis
- Calculus
- AP Calculus
- AP Statistics
*Honors courses are available. Prerequisites must be met.
