Read it in the original French.
Translate it yourself (do not give me a translation from a book and do not use an on-line translation service).

Analyze the poem in terms of its rhyme scheme (if any), rhythm, tone,                assonance/alliteration, and, of course, meaning.
Tell how the physical form of the poem reflects its meaning.

These 3 pages (French poem, English translation, and analysis) are to be typed    single-spaced and handed in on Tuesday, September 12. This assignment will be worth 100 points and there will be deductions for lateness.
