Dear TMLA Family,
More than seventy five years ago, The Mary Louis Academy created the foundation for an outstanding college preparatory school to serve generations of women to come. In 1940 TMLA’s first class left with diplomas in hand along with the knowledge needed to shape a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
While the mission of the Academy has not changed since those early days, TMLA has seen a tremendous amount of growth in the following seven decades. We are the largest all girls Catholic high school in the State of New York with a current enrollment of almost 1,000 young women. We comprise the biggest all female athletic program in the City of New York. Moreover, 100% of the graduating class go on to attend college. We are proud that our reputation for academic excellence makes TMLA the first choice for talented students seeking an exceptional education.
These wonderful accomplishments are made possible through the generous support of alumnae, parents, and friends like you.
Today, new challenges face The Mary Louis Academy. In order to uphold the standard of educational excellence which TMLA has always maintained, we must raise $795,000 towards our $8.8 million operating budget.
