Orchestra

Moderator:
Mr. Brian Siemers

Purpose:
The orchestra's purpose is to instill the true meaning of " harmony-by cooperating harmoniously together."  We want to share with every ear, the joy of music making.
Moreover, we wish for the students to feel pride and enrichment in their own individual contribution.  We wish to display what beauties can result from sound teamwork.

Activities:

• Christmas Concert
• Spring Concert
• NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) Level 3
• School Functions

How can you be in the orchestra?
Students are chosen by audition.

Meetings:
Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Music Room from 2:45 till 4:00 PM and "F" Day last period

Last year, we received a Silver Medal Rating at the NYSSMA
