Alumnae

The Mary Louis Academy Alumnae Association is a primary vehicle for uniting graduates in support of one another and of the interests of TMLA.  The Officers and Executive Board meet regularly and are responsible for the publication of the newsletter, The Mariel-After, the planning of special events, the facilitating of reunions in conjunction with Class Representatives and the awarding of selective scholarships.

ATTENTION ATHLETIC ALUMNAE
Did you play a sport in college?  We have a new section on the Athletics section of our website that lists TMLA grads who played a sport in college.  If you would like to be included, please e-mail Carol A. Cooper, Director of Academy Advancement, at marylouisacademy@aol.com. Mary Louis Alumnae Association Awards
Sister Nora Hillery, CSJ Memorial Alumnae Scholarship

The Mary Louis Academy Alumnae Association awards tuition scholarships annually to students who are daughters, granddaughters or sisters of Mary Louis alumnae, and who have the highest grade point average among the applicants.  The scholarship is funded by a 200 Club raffle, and is named in memory of S. Nora Hillery, CSJ, whose religious name was Sister Joseph Patrice, was a member of TMLA's first graduating class and former Alumnae Association moderator, who died in 1998. 

The recipients of a scholarship are: 
Senior:  Uzma Toppa, sister of Aisha Topper '07
Junior:  Maria Devakumar, sister of Priya Devakumar '04
Sophomore:  Elizabeth Jule, sister of Carman Jule '05
Freshman:  Rebecca Warne, daughter of Mary Ellen Esche Warne '80
