Diploma Requirements

The Mary Louis Academy requires a student to earn 26.50 credits, four of which are in Religious Studies. The Course of Study at The Mary Louis Academy is geared toward the students’ achieving a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation.

For the New York State Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation these examinations are required:

English 4 Credits English Comprehensive Examination

Social Studies 4 Credits Global History & Geography Regents Examination  and US History and Government Regents Examination

Mathematics 3 Credits Math A / Math B Regents Examination or
Regents Examinations in Integrated Algebra, Geometry and Advanced Algebra

Science 3 Credits 2 Science Regents Examinations

Language 3 Credits Regents Comprehensive Examination in one Language Other Than English

Fine Arts 1 Credit (Students who choose a concentration in Art will have their schedule arranged to accommodate the needed courses.)

Health .50 Credit

Physical Education 2 Credits

Plus a sufficient number of courses to bring the sum of credits to a minimum of 26.5 Credits

NB: Before Diplomas are awarded, all monetary obligations must be fulfilled.
