The Admissions Committee carefully reviews the academic credentials
[6th, 7th, 8th grade report cards and standardized test results] of
each applicant and performance on the Test for Admission to Catholic
High School—TACHS. Though all choices are considered, preference is
given to 1st and 2nd Choice on the TACHS Examination. One-quarter of
a million dollars is earmarked each year for scholarships for the
incoming Freshman class.
Scholarship Information
Academic Scholarships
Full and partial four-year
scholarships are awarded to students who put The Mary Louis Academy
as their 1st Choice and score among the highest on the
Test for Admission to Catholic High School. No scholarship
application is needed.
CSJ Scholar Incentive Awards
The mission of the Sisters
of St. Joseph is to be a life giving force in our communities. We
offer CSJ Scholar Incentive Awards to students who exemplify this
commitment to service in their neighborhoods.
Requirements:
1.
Application available from The
Mary Louis Academy.
Submission Deadline: December 15, 2007
2.
Letter from adult supervisor
attesting to candidate’s service activities and involvement.
Submission Deadline: December 15, 2007
3.
Letter of recommendation from
the candidate’s grade school Principal or teacher.
Submission Deadline: December 15, 2007
4.
Score in the 80th
percentile or above on the Test for Admission to Catholic High
School,
place The Mary Louis Academy as 1st or 2nd
Choice and have a satisfactory grade school
record.
These Scholar Incentive Awards of
$1,000 per year for four years will be distributed to applicants
throughout the neighborhoods from which our students come.
